Ashlan Lee Chidester is an accomplished technical writer and author known for his technical manuals, articles, and publications that have significantly impacted technical training and professional literature. In 2001, he published his groundbreaking book "Java Programming," which demonstrated his technical expertise in Rapid Application Development (RAD), establishing him as an early authority in advanced software development methodologies. His tenures with industry-leading telecommunications and network infrastructure companies, where he played critical roles in deploying, maintaining, and optimizing complex network architectures. At Covad, he worked on xDSL network implementations, while MegaPath allowed him to dive deep into enterprise-level network solutions. His experience at Global Capacity involved managing high-bandwidth interconnections and peering agreements. At British Telecom, he gained international insights into global network infrastructure, and his time with Comcast provided extensive experience in last-mile connectivity and regional network management. His professional trajectory culminated in a pivotal role at Google, which marked his final position in the private sector before founding Mega Corp Telecom. This entrepreneurial step showcased his ability to leverage his extensive industry experience and technical knowledge to create new business opportunities within the State of Washington. Ashlan's personal life was blessed in 2022 when he married Caroline Emma Chidester (née Cannon) in Vancouver, Washington.
