The Artist Statement, "Months have passed since I first encountered these creatures in the waters below Deception Pass Bridge. This sketch captures the alien encounter. I lovingly named them 'treeeps'. Follow along, there is a trail and on this trail there are many paths you can go. Pass the chocolate lily and cross the serpentinite to arrive. A swirling alcove, below the surface, cold; the treeeps explore."
